@ Mr T : when was the last time you looked on an A6M ? There is nothing in common... First P51 were used for Close air support, because of some design flows... It's the p51 D which started to be a dog in the air ! P51 design is claimed by many expert to be the best Prop fighter ever. From pilatus P3 to the PC7, you see a bird which looks like a p51 more and more... The Super T and Texan 2 are his childs...
Besides, this new bird have better engines, materials, sensors : So it will be basically like seeing P40 Vs A6M, the skill of pilots will certainly change the game.

DeleteThe Texan2 and SuperT were designed for COMPLETELY different missions than the P-51. Talk about Apples to Oranges.
Besides, I'm sure that either of the two (T2 or ST) could hold their own, especially considering modern sensors and missiles.
